Let me give a little background about the Phobjhika valley/ Gangtey Village.. It's a reserved area for Black necked cranes.. Hence you'll not find any hotel in this area. Also the electric lines are under ground. This is the reason the area is not commercialized and one of the untouched territories in Bhutan. So here you can only stay in local farms/lodge. Coming to the NGA Yapling, the farm has a breathtaking view. The family which takes care of the place is very helping and cheerful and they take care of you as your own family. You can even cook for yourself. The rooms are comfortable with room heaters and enough blankets to keep you warm. We had the best day spent here while in Bhutan (of course except the Tiger Nest). Would love to come back and relax for a week.
Such an awesome place, I'm falling short of words to describe. We stayed here just for 1 night as a part of our 6 nights Bhutan tour. Location is like heaven, such a calm and quiet place admist farms and mountains. Still room was neat and tidy with two room heaters and clean western toilet. Awesome staff and food. Felt like home. It would be a dream vacation to stay here for a week :)
Personale cortese.
