The motel and a convenience store are together; check in at the store. We stayed 3 nights in the “Executive Suite.” It was clever to add it in the back of the store and make it a special, newer room with lovely antiques, a jacuzzi , a large TV and a kitchen. The beautiful king size bed has a good, firm mattress. The heaters and the air conditioner were fine. Nice shower; soft towels. Bring toiletries as they did not even provide soap. Another bonus was the friendly and helpful staff. The first impression may not be good. The room first appeared dark and dirty. After we found the light switches around the room, there was plenty of light and electrical outlets. The Wi-Fi worked well. Perhaps the wind blows dirt and leaves in to make the floor so dirty. I advise bringing slippers so you don’t walk barefoot. Some of the kitchen was also dirty. Luckily because of COVID19, we traveled with cleaning supplies/Lysol. The first thing we did was clean the bathroom and kitchen and wash the dishes. The inside of the microwave and the refrigerator were particularly dirty. We left it cleaner than we found it, so your experience may be better. I believe that if the rugs and the nice wooden floor were clean, we wouldn’t mind staying here again. I would recommend this room if you are staying here. We did get a carryout pizza from the lovely women at Spuds. We also highly recommend anyone traveling through should stop at the Blaine County Wildlife Museum in Chinook. It is a very special place.…

On check in the room overhead lights didn't work, the toilet wouldn't flush, and the shower kept dripping. The exterior of the building is severely run down, the wifi worked intermittently. I did not call for repairs based on previews reviews on this site, rather I repaired the room and mentioned it when I checked out. It didn't help that the trains went through all night blowing their horns. The only saving graces were the AC worked and Dish TV was installed. The girl that check me in, office is in the convenience store in front on the hotel, resorted to threats about how much I would have to pay if I lost the key or smoked in the room. The C-store had very high prices on everything.

rented a room for the night, and had problems with the heater. Owner didn't care, I told him I would never return. He came to my room and yelled at me and told me to leave. And don't use a ultra violet light on the toilet. Wasn't close to being clean. I have never been treated this way in any business establishment. judging by the first review, it's best to avoid this place like it was the plague! I'll sleep in my truck or under a tree before I would even concider staying there again!
