Great accommodations! Meghan and Shannon at the front desk were extremely helpful and professional. Can't wait to go back when the pool opens. The bed and pillows were amazing. Everything is super clean and convenient. Complimentary hot breakfast was a nice surprise.
Its better late than never. I checked in at the front desk with Meghan and gosh I don't think I have ever experienced such wonderful customer service. I was exhausted from shopping with my mother in law and so I popped in to check out room prices. I am happy to say that she was a main reason I ended up booking. I've seen this being built for over two years and finally can say it was absolutely wonderful. Minor thing would be the lights in the room are a tad confusing so an instruction manual would be wise.
This place is so new it feels like you are the first guest! Victoria at the front desk was so nice and helpful as well as welcoming. From the new furniture to the in room keurig to the kindness I give them 5 stars.
We stayed as a family for the Bills Game. Nice new hotel, spotty hot water and breakfast was a bit slow but That was small potatoes compared to the service at this hotel. Shannon at the front desk was amazing from start to finish, professional and made us feel so welcomed. She was such a breath of fresh air to see everyday. Our housekeeper Shiela was so pleasant and made sure our room was clean and had extra soaps and makeup wipes for my daughters. I would come back just to see everyone again, and for the cinnamon rolls.
We booked two rooms for this hotel in early May 2019. One we booked using Expedia and the other cashing in some accumulated points. We were travelling down from Ontario to attend a Buffalo Bills game the next morning. After a long drive we arrived at the hotel property only to discover IT WASN’T FINISHED BEING BUILT! There was nobody on the property, no signage to indicate who to contact, the listed phone number wasn’t connected. So I found myself standing in the pouring rain with a closed hotel at 4pm the night before a major sporting event which assured that all hotels in the area were booked or charging 10x their usual rate. We phoned the parent company for Holiday Inn and were basically told to call our booking agent and to suck it up. No apology, no explanation, no effort to accommodate us elsewhere. My wife is a travel agent and pretty tenacious so after some badgering the person she spoke with agreed to escalate our complaint which apparently means someone will phone us in 48 hours.... so what the hell were we to do in the meantime!?! Expedia was kind enough to try and find us another hotel and sent us to possibly the worst roach infested motor inn I’ve ever seen. I know they were trying to help but that was not what we signed up for. We booked and paid for this 5 months ago! Why accept a reservation for a hotel that isn’t built and for God’s sake, why don’t you tell the people you did book that you can’t take them before they drive 6 hours? How many people got screwed over this weekend or will be hurt in the coming weeks with reservations for rooms you haven’t finished? Who knows, this property may eventually become a nice hotel. But after the crazy stuff they unapologetically put us through, they deserve to open their doors starting with a one star rating.…
