The bedspread had a stain right in the middle (look like a pet pee'd on it). That was gross. We took it to the manager and though they were concerned there was no offer to restore points or cut cost of a night... My wife took the sheet to the manager and actually carried another back to the room herself. No one contacted us the next morning when the day manager came on. We've been platinum members for over 10 yrs (I travel a lot with my company) and I'm rethinking my priority support for this chain. Once points are used likely change to Marriott or Hilton. This was very disappointing particularly during the Corvid-19 era when everyone is being assured things are clean!
This a new hotel that we luckily stumbled across while looking for somewhere to stay in Johnson City! The receptionist was very sweet and the hotel seems really clean! We ended up booking a studio room and had plenty of room for our one year old to run around. We are glad we stayed here instead of an older hotel!
We stayed here for one night and it was a great experience. The staff was possibly the nicest I have encountered in a very long time. Many things are not offered due to COVID-19 and it’s perfectly understandable. The free laundry amenities were open so I took advantage of that. There are some really strange things about the construction that I noticed. The walls and trim on our floor were so crooked. It was a bit strange. The walls in the bathroom were also very Off but neither of these things impacted our stay. Our suite was incredibly clean and the common areas were also well kept and sanitized.
If you leave something behind, consider it hotel property because they will say that it (mysteriously) disappeared even though noone else has stayed in the room. The management is unresponsive and cannot ever be found. So unprofessional!!!
Was kind of weirded out by the low reviews on here. This place is brand new and well maintained. We checked in a for a five night stay while we were visiting friends in the area. It was centrally located to their house, but also to so many restaurants in Johnson City. They had the bulk supplies for the bathroom, and the receptionists were all really sweet. The check-in/check-out process was really mainstreamed. The only con, that wasn't actually a problem for us, was breakfast. As a result of Covid the breakfast menus have been super limited (at all IHG hotels. I had to stay at multiple to get to this one and I too am an IHG rewards member) and are grab and go only, which is fine I totally understand why. However, the only options were muffins, a couple of fruit options (bananas/oranges), instant oatmeal packets, and some chobani yogurt. Other IHG hotels had pre-wrapped sandwiches that you could take to your room and microwave and I was disappointed that this hotel didn't offer similar options, but I understand that states have different Covid rules. As stated this wasn't an issue for us because we just bought breakfast stuff and cooked in the room, because it had a full kitchen. Overall, I'd definitely come back and stay at this hotel.…
