We stopped here after spotting an RV/camping sign on our way back from the Lysta Fur lighthouse. ListaFlypark is huge. There is a camping area, Caravan/RV area and looks like there are hotels you can rent and a hostel above the reception area (Hostelling International sign on building). It looked as though there was even a go-kart track and paintball area! At the back of the facility there was an area called Flip Side...and looked as if there is a festival held here. In Vanse there were signs for an American Festival at the end of June, so perhaps this is the location? This looks as though they are used to teenagers/twenty somethings who come to party. Maybe it would have been better if we called ahead, but we stopped randomly around 1700-1800 after seeing the RV sign and needing to charge up. There was no one in the reception area but soon someone came out to help us. She didn't really explain how anything worked and just charged us (200kr) and left us on our own. We are new Caravan adventurers (4 friends in our late 20's/30's) and all we could access was electricity. We were able to charge our electronics, but little else. There was wifi, but only in the business centre and password protected. We were also unable to access water! So we couldn't even fill up our water tank or shower in our RV. There was a large WC area with showers (brown building) with coin operated sauna and washing machines. Although most of the outdoor signs were bilingual, the indoor signs were in Norwegian and we couldn't understand them to understand how much change to put in. We tried to go back to reception in the morning to figure out the showers (if they were coin operated too?) because only cold water was coming out of the tap. The sink had hot water, so we washed up in the sink instead. We didn't think it was coin operated, but couldn't find anyone to ask. We did end up asking to fill our water tank, but it wasn't working at that time, so we were unable to do so. In the end, if it wasn't for the gentleman who let us into the business centre, this would have been a complete waste of 40$ but we were able to access the internet until they locked up that evening. Perhaps this place is run better once the season starts, it looks as if it might, but we didn't have the best experience.…
