What a wonderful stay! We visited Plitvice on our trip through Croatia and the Holiday Lodge was probably our favorite stop along the way! First, Nina was extremely accommodating and understanding when we arrived late for check-in after a long day of driving; she immediately welcomed us and put us at ease. The whole property-- and our room on the top floor-- was immaculate. Everything is clearly very new, cozy, clean, and comfortable. The two bathrooms in our room (the Deluxe King) was a special treat, and we loved spending time in the backyard under the string lights on the hammocks and swings. The breakfast was delicious, and Nina offered to make us a lunch to have while hiking in the National Park-- also delicious. We really enjoyed the traditional dinner Nina prepared as well. Overall, a wonderful stay. I would have loved to have spent more time there.…

Gorgeous guesthouse a few minutes drive from entrance 2 of national park. The decor and furnishings are of high quality. Comfy bed, large screen tv and wonderful shower all combine to make a very luxury experience. Also included is a scrumptious breakfast. Outside area has plenty of seating to lounge after a hard day’s walking in the park. Would def book again.

Top quality lodge where founder Nina, a smart, friendly and beautiful entrepreneur, welcomes guests with heart in her super clean and comfortable place and pretty garden including a delicious hearty breakfast with Nina's own oven-fresh bread. Can't think of a better homy accommodation near the stunning park.

I can't rave enough about just how nice Nina and the team were. We stayed for 4 days to visit Plitvice and surroundings and Nina made us feel so welcome. The rooms are so tastefully decorated in a modern and cozy way. The breakfast was great (loved the apricot pie and the croissants - and I'm French). They also propose very good lunch bags for the next day for hikes or any activity. Just a perfect stay.

We LOVED our stay at this lodge, and it's clear Nina is thinking of all the details and working hard to make everyone's stay special and delightful. Our room and the whole lodge were clean, tidy, and thoughtfully and stylishly decorated. The room was more spacious than traditional hotel rooms, which was nice, and was well-equipped with blackout shades, L'Occitaine bath products, coffee and tea, and soft robes and slippers. The private wellness center is a perfect spa space for two people -- we reserved it for 90 minute sessions both days of our stay, and we absolutely LOVED IT. A wonderful dry sauna, a tub with massaging jets, 2 cozy lounge chairs, all with an ensuite shower/bathroom and all the little amenities you could hope for: tea, spa water, wine, you name it and Nina has it for you. The dinner and breakfast options at the lodge were FANTASTIC. We had a full dinner meal the first night, which was great, and the second night we opted for only the meat and cheese selection, which was substantial and delicious. Nina recommended fabulous wine on our first night, and Nicolina, the head chef, was so thoughtful in preparing and explaining all the delicious food. She even sent me home with a jar full of her homemade jam! The breakfast really was delicious and fresh and full of great options. The Lodge is located just 5-7 minutes from Plitvice's entrances, which makes its location SUPER convenient. We loved our stay at this lodge and would definitely recommend it (and visit again in the future!).…
